Dr. Ng Huey Yuen

Dr. Ng Huey Yuen is the Deputy Executive Director, SIMTech and Assistant Chief Executive, ARTC, where he oversees the R&D portfolio across both research institutes, spanning manufacturing processes to AI, robotics and systems. He also serves as the Technical Director at the Sectoral AI Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing (AIMfg), where he leads strategic R&D programs that accelerate AI adoption across Singapore’s manufacturing sector.

Dr. Ng’s expertise spans advanced manufacturing, AI, digital transformation, and supply chain optimization. He previously led the Knowledge Transfer Office at SIMTech and ARTC, driving workforce upskilling through Continuing Education and Training (CET) programs, and continues to contribute to the development of Singapore’s manufacturing ecosystem as a member of the Smart Manufacturing Technical Committee.

Dr. Ng holds a PhD in Engineering (Manufacturing & Management) from the University of Cambridge and a First-Class Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London. He was awarded the A*STAR National Science Scholarship (BS-PhD).
