Almost 1 year on, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to profound changes in manufacturing, supply chain, and production landscape. Organisations are increasingly focusing on measures to ensure business resilience in the ‘new normal’ but with different operating contexts and priorities across industries and sectors, “resilience” can mean different things to different parties. This web engagement session will look into what resilience means and the role of automation and robotics in enabling it - how players from different manufacturing sectors are approaching the task of enabling resilience as a vital part of their production and operations, how resilience is assessed or measured, as well as their shared lessons, experiences and insights on mid or longer-terms views on what businesses could do to be readier for future disruptions, with thoughts on recovery prospects and how some sectors are working towards it on a sustained basis.Read More
