BMW deploys more hydrogen fuel cell trucks for logistics in Leipzig

BMW is expanding the fleet of hydrogen fuel cell trucks it uses to manage parts movements at its Leipzig plant in Germany. BMW’s logistics provider, BLG Logistics, is deploying 37 different vehicles as part of the H2Intradrive project at the Leipzig plant, aimed at testing hydrogen vehicles for parts supply in car body production. The vehicles are supplied by rental partner Günsel Fördertechnik und Fahrzeugbau, an authorised dealer in equipment from logistics equipment maker Linde.
